CAAPS Registered Training Organisation provides nationally accredited training.
Under our current scope we deliver Certificate II in Community Service (First Point of Contact) CHC20302 and Certificate III in Community Service Work CHC30802 and offer a number of different elective units that require participants to develop skills to work with people experiencing alcohol and other drug problems, an introduction to mental health, units that develop skills to work with people experiencing problems from domestic and family violence and other units that provide a range of skills to work in a cross cultural workplace, skills to work with groups and basic skills to provide first point of contact for a client accessing a service.
In 2006 a number of people form across the NT completed studies to be eligible to receive awards in either Certificate II in Community Service (First Point of Contact) CHC20302 or Certificate III in Community Service Work CHC30802. Training in these Certificates is also available under the Australian Apprentice Scheme.
