Annual Celebration – 2021

On the 8th December we had our annual All Staff Morning Tea with CAAPS Board, where we come together to celebrate the successes over the past 12 months. This also involves the handing out of some special awards!

Katie received 2021’s ‘Staff member of the year’ award. Katie was nominated (numerous times!) by her peers for her caring, positive and professional nature, as well as making other staff feel respected and empowered, even on the tough days. Katie was also recognised for her patience and selflessness in supporting others.
Katie has worked with CAAPS for 7 years, she’s the welcoming face you will find at our main reception desk in Berrimah ?‍?

We were privileged to be able to hand out two long service awards – both for ten years! A huge thank you to Jenny our Intake and Health Coordinator and to Dee our Domestic Advisor for their decades of service.

We also had our quarterly CORE awards, for staff who are nominated by their peers for living CAAPS values of Caring, Openness, Respect and Empowerment (CORE) in their work. This quarters went to Jessica – Darrandirra Key worker and Chloe – Healthy Families Children’s Worker.

We are very thankful to all of our staff members – we couldn’t deliver the services we provide for our community without our dedicated and passionate staff teams, we appreciate all of them and the work they have done this year.
